Coming soon

The patch that goes on before it rubs.

Stick it on the spot your shoe always gets you. It takes the rubbing instead of your skin, so long days stop ending in sore feet.

Launching soon. The list gets the first batch.
The problem

You know the moment your shoe starts to rub.

The second hour in new shoes. The tenth kilometre. A warm spot on your heel you try to ignore, until you cannot. It has nothing to do with how fit you are. It is skin against a sock, hour after hour, and everything you can buy for it is made for afterwards.

What sets us apart

Your sock slides over the patch. Not over your skin.

✓
Your sock slides over itThe top is slick, so the fabric moves over the patch, not over you.
✕
Your sock grips itA soft pad still rubs. It just rubs the pad instead of you, until it slips.
✓
Goes on beforeTwo minutes at the door, on the spot that always rubs.
✕
Goes on afterMade for a day that already went wrong.
✓
Stays on all dayThrough sweat, rain and a shower. Off tonight.
✕
Lifts when wetEdges curl, the sock finds them, and it is gone by lunch.
The Runner Who Finished
A Dot on each heel at the start. You forget it is there.
The Hiker On Day Two
A Strip on each achilles the night before.
The New-Shoe Night Out
Two Dots and they are broken in by dinner.
The Twelve-Hour Shift
Two Shields in the morning. Done.

Three layers.
One job.

Eighteen months of research into the slickest surfaces and the adhesives that survive sweat, made with a Dutch converter.

  • A slick top layerUltra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, the same family of material as ski bases and joint implants. Almost nothing slides better.
  • A long-wear skin adhesiveAn acrylic adhesive made for skin, built to hold through sweat and to come off tonight without residue.
  • A liner with a pull tabSo you place the patch with one hand, without touching the adhesive.
  • From 0.9 down to 0.2Wet skin against a sock rubs at a friction coefficient of 0.5 to 0.9. Sock against the patch: around 0.2.

The story

It started with 120 kilometres of sand.

In April 2025 Samuel ran the Marathon des Sables, the hottest edition ever. By day two his feet were wrecked. So were everyone else's. Every product in the camp was made for afterwards: plasters, tape, painkillers. Nothing was made for before.

He came home with one question. What if your sock could slide over something slick, instead of over your skin? Eighteen months later that question became FRICTION. Engineered for ultrarunners. Loved by everyone with a pair of shoes.

FAQ

Common questions

Does it stay on when I sweat? ⌄

Yes. That was the first thing we asked the factory for. Clean, dry skin, press for ten seconds, and it holds through a full day of sport, rain or a shower.

Will I feel it in my shoe? ⌄

No. It is a thin, flexible film. You press it on and your sock does the rest.

Can I use it anywhere on my body? ⌄

Yes. Feet, hands, inner thighs, under a strap. Anywhere something rubs your skin.

Is this a medical product? ⌄

No. It is a comfort product that reduces rubbing. It does not treat anything.

Do I need a different kit for a different sport? ⌄

No. Same patches. Only the card and the video change. Buy the sport you do most.
